Marrowforums Tools for Patients and Caregivers
It's important that you be a part of your own health care team. The more you learn about your own health, the better you can be a partner to the doctors. The Marrowforums Tools are intended to help you find assistance, better understand your health, or cope with practicalities as a patient or caregiver.
The interactive Treatment Center Map lets you locate treatment centers in the U.S. and Canada that have experience treating aplastic anemia, MDS, and PNH.

See the Medical Resources section for lists of U.S treatment centers by state and Canadian treatment centers by province.
The ANC Calculator lets you compute and understand your Absolute Neutrophil Count from a routine blood test called a differential.

The differential shows the percentages or quantities of various types of white cells in your blood.
The MDS Classification Tool lets you identify and understand your MDS classifications (scores and subtypes) under each of the three common MDS classification schemes:
  • the International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS)
  • the Revised International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS-R)
  • the WHO (World Health Organization) Classification System
  • the WHO Prognostic Scoring System (WPSS)
  • the FAB (French American British) Classification System
